JUNTU Partners With Chery Group to Debut OMODA & JAECOO EVs in Ethiopia

JUNTU Technologies Trading PLC has officially inaugurated and commenced operations at its state-of-the-art vehicle showroom and after-sales service center for the OMODA and JAECOO brands, located in the Nifas Silk Lafto sub-city of Addis Ababa.

The facility operates as a comprehensive hub offering vehicle sales, specialized maintenance services and direct access to genuine spare parts under one roof — directly addressing the infrastructure and parts-availability concerns that have historically held back EV adoption in Ethiopia.

Juntu's General Manager highlighted that the investment extends beyond vehicle sales, aiming to stimulate the local economy through new jobs and technical skill development for Ethiopian mechanics and engineers adapting to electric mobility. The company has built capacity to supply thousands of electric vehicles per month to the Ethiopian market.
